President Trump BACKS Chief of Staff John Kelly

There’s nothing to see here, folks.

That’s the RESOUNDING message in two late-night tweets from President Trump, who put to bed rumors that Chief of Staff John Kelly was on the outs with his administration.

Earlier in the day, President Trump gave an even more resounding endorsement of Kelly in an interview at the White House.  “John Kelly is one of the best people I’ve ever worked with. He’s doing an incredible job,” Trump said.

“He’s doing a great job. He will be here — in my opinion — for the entire seven remaining years,” the president said.

John Kelly is the rare example of a Trump administration official who manages to unite both the left and the right in praise. The retired Marine Corps general was the Secretary of Homeland Security before stepping into the chief of staff role after the resignation of Reince Preibus. Since then, he’s helped to advance President Trump’s agenda and has been a calming force among a staff prone to disorder and leaks.

Here’s hoping General Kelly sticks around for a long time!
